MIT Parking BS

MIT requires that students park in the West Lot YEAR ROUND even if there are no other students on campus. How dumb is that???

SDMers....do y'all pay for parking, or just park anywhere anyway? I cannot believe that they are trying to make me park in West Lot all summer. It's ridiculous that they give commuting students the farthest-away parking anyway, considering we are COMMUTING to classes. Dumbasses.

I'd vent more, but lucky for all of you I have a meeting.

I don't drive to campus that much, but when I do, where I park depends on the time of day. If it's after 3pm, I park wherever I need, as most lots are open. If it's before 3pm, I park at the West Annex Lot (not quite the same as the West Lot, but maybe what you meant anyways), because it's the most convenient: it's close to the gym and to 9-057, where all our classes are. Since I stop by E40 about once a month, this actually works out great for me...
