Yahoo is placing Blogs side-by-side with news.
I'm sure I'll be getting a call any day now. This site is definitely at least as informative as that of my former employer.

I still remember the argument I had last semester with Jeannie, Kevin, and a couple of other SDMers who claimed blogs were not journalism. They shall eat their words, I told them then, and I still believe so now. It's a gradual process that'll take a few more years, but the two will become interchangable.
As I mentioned before, I believe blogs are akin to the op-ed page of a newspaper
Some are reader's comments, some are op-ed, some are as good as any bit of journalism by Tom Friedman, Maureen Dowd, and the other professionals. It's just nice to have options.
